MEREDITH MONK PORTRAIT AND PYTHIA PRIZE CAMPAIGN

Rubik are thrilled to launch our inaugural fundraising campaign, celebrating the individuality and creativity of females in contemporary music. This campaign will assist in raising the remaining artist fees for our upcoming event at the Melbourne Recital Centre, '75 Years: A Portrait of Meredith Monk' in which we will expand from our core quartet to a sixteen-piece ensemble. The campaign will also fund our newest initiative- The Pythia Prize. The Pythia Prize is a commission project that will see an Australian female composer collaborate with Rubiks to create a new work, to be premiered in 2018. More information about the Pythia Prize will be released throughout the campaign.

Over the next 29 days, we'll be celebrating creative women, profiling some very special collaborators and encouraging you to help us support creative females. Rubiks have been chosen to be part of Creative Partnerships Australia's MATCH Lab program, which means that all donations over $2 are tax deductible and that every donation made towards our project will be matched dollar for dollar. This means your donation will go twice as far!
